I am looking to make short 3 minute ( edited ) videos on cooking. I’m a chef and have no clue where to start with what camera to purchase. Initially I wanted to get the canon 80 but untimately id lové advice on what the best camera for a ‘cooking show’ & great Instagram pics would be. For sound I’m doing voice over and would like to use the blue yeti.

My options are AVCHD at 60P or MXP or FXP or LP. Or I can choose MP4 at 35, 24 or 17Mbps. But if I choose the highest setting of AVCHD or MP4, I cannot use certain other options and it will not allow the simultaneous 4Mbps MP4 recording. Anyway, do you have a recommendation for a Mac computer user for transferring these videos to DVD? I don’t need a lot of bells and whistles… just something easy to learn and use. THANKS!
If you open up a digital photograph in a paint (image editing) program, you can change it in all kinds of ways. A program like this works by adjusting the numbers that represent each pixel of the image. So, if you click on a control that makes the image 20 percent brighter, the program goes through all the numbers for each pixel in turn and increases them by 20 percent. I want to create a series of videos that are instructional. Most of the video will PowerPoint with written and image content. Only a small percentage of it will be filming myself talking. I don’t have a lot of money to spend but wanted to at least have quality video and audio. I don’t want it to look like a cheesy home video and sound like I’m in a tunnel somewhere. I want it to look somewhat professionally done. What’s a good camera and microphone that I can use?
For casual photos, it does not matter much, but for sports or where you want to capture “THAT MOMENT” like an eagle catching fish or something, which happens at a particular moment, DSLR technique is helpful.
